ML320 Ball Joints

Quick question.

I want to replace the ball joints on my ML, but after removing the whell, it looks like I have upper and lower ball joints. Am I mistaken? And, if I am, what do you call the ball joints looking things at the top?

The only reason I ask this is because if you look for replacements ball joints, it doesn't designate top or bottom.

The ball joint looking things at the top are control arms, those ball joints are not available separately. Thus any reference to front ball joints is to lower front ball joints.

I just found that out today. Apparently you can replace the lower ball joint, but in order to replace the top one you need to replace that whole arm which contains the upper ball joint.
