its only a little over 1 qt. so you can use a small hand pump the screw right on top of your qt bottle. give it a good few pump and it will over flow. I had to double check on the filler hole since it is only about 1 inch higher fluid level wise than the drain plug.

you can buy a little pump that you attach to your drill and one end of the tube goes in the bottle and the other end goes in the transfer case...works very well with no mess and is very quick

What is the MB ATF part number for w163 transfer case? Here in Russia some dealers use 001 989 21 03 10 (MB 236.10) - the same as for transmission.

Do you think MB misprinted the fluid to use for the transfer case because I used dexron3 and synthetic dexron 3 and still I get the noise. At the MB stealership they say use mb fluid type a6 or something like that.

Mine took three changes to totally eliminate the noise, though it got extremely quieter after the first change. If your transfer case is damaged, then the noise will never go away.

Just out of curiosity.... what does the crank case noise sound like? I've got a funny noise but I think it has to do with the brakes. I recently put on new rotors and pads and the noise totally disappeared... but now it's back. So.... this is just a curious question..

P.S.... you're right... Windows TOTALLY SUCKS.... Mac OSX Rules.....!!!..LOL

The noise is like when youre a kid and you put a popsicle stick on your bike's wheels and it hits the spokes to make the sound. It sounds like that. And I hate it on my ML.
