Cool Dashboard Circle symbol lights

please help guys.. i am a newbie.. a circle symbol light started to show on my dash.. i lost my owners manual so now i am trying to figure out what that symbol means.. can someone please help?? lemme describe the circle symbol... its like a cirlce and another circle around it..and the top and bottom of the outside circle is blank and the sides are broken into 3 pieces, but they still form the shap of a circle.. im sure all ml owners know what i am talking about.. please help..

oh yea 1 more thing.. how do i replace a dash light? cuz from 0 to 80 is bright.. from 80 to 160 is dark.. thank you..

I'm pretty sure it's the brake pad sensor. I'll have to check later in the afternoon or someone else can chime in by then. You can also join the Owner's Club on MBusa.com, the last time I checked, they had a PDF manual on there.

To get to the bulbs in the instrument cluster, go about the 8th post down.

I just double checked in my manual. You are correct, it is the "brake pad worn" light.
