Just wondering what air filter to use. I am looking at getting the Mann air filter from importtec. Is this filter alright to put in?

Thanks for any help.

I am curious what they cost. I ask because I found a STP air filter at Auto Zone for $27.99. The oil filter (STP also, with four O-rings) was like $11.99. Nine quarts of Mobil 1 0W-40 @ $5.99 each, too.

I used NAPA air and oil filters, Mobil 1 synt 10W-40 or 5w-40 in Costco for $29.99 a case (2.49 each quart).

I've been using MANN from Importec for all the changes that I've done. Does Costco have 0W-40 for that cheap??? [Btw, I thought that 0W-40 was the recommended oil type to use?]

There are not much difference in air filters when it comes to major brand stuff. Just get the cheapest major brand air filter. For performance air filter I like K & N.

Oil filters is a different story. I would only use fleece filters with seals - Mahle($19.49) or Mann($16.57) are preferred.

I don't put the cheapest anything in my ML.

Funny how the worst filter (K&N) is the 'high performance' filter. I suppose that the highest performance filter is no filter at all.
