I got a flat tire coming home from school today and didn't notice until I got home. I changed the tire in my garage and now the car won't move even in reverse or drive. How does this happen and what did I do wrong? Aswell my wheel is slightly bent. Is there any way to repair the wheel? I appreciate any help from the benz world community.
did you set your parking BRAKE before it BROKE and became breaked? my brake will barely hold the car stationary and i just replaced the shoes in the system....I cant imagine a parking brake that could lock your car up especially if you backed it up did you try reverse as well as forward?...
zactly! you should have had shorter bolts for use with spare rim. the sare is usually
lighter and have less cross section in material in the lug area. the longer ones are
sticking out back and hitting something....brake caliper ¿ !
Oatie44, you need to find the lug bolts that attached the original wheels. Replace those then you should be able to move your ML. Order a new wheel to replace your bent one. After all, owning an MB is about safety, right?

I suspect that the rim you replaced was not OEM. If the rim is not the same size as OEM, find the OEM lugs (or equivalent) and use with the spare. I think that the lugs you're using are too long and are interfering with the rotors.
