2002 ML320 Fog light

Hi everyone,

I just bought a set of H8 6000k HID kit for the fog lights. Can't wait to install them but I was wondering if there is any reprogramming to set the Xenon present?? I know if you have to do it for the driving lights, but do you have to do it for the fog lights? Thanks

PS. Vik what did you do when u install the hid? plug and play without any reprogramming? did it flicker?

HID fog lights? Will you eventually replace the headlights with HID too? or have you already?

Not doing the headlights. Too much hassle with the whole daytime running lights and getting the dealer to reprogram. The foglights are much easier to change. direct plug and play with the H8 hid kit. but I don't know if it will flicker or not.

you wont get the warning light for fogs.

No, you will not get a warning. It is completely plug and play.

You can get the HID Kit from CARLab, which is also plug and play, no need to visit the dealership if you use this kit, I love it! No warnings, just the enjoyment of having HIDs in the headlights.

sorry bud, my ML is going to be in the body shop for atleast another month, doing alot of body work to it.

I believe I mounted mine to the bumper reinforcement with zip ties.
