In my bonehead move to try and dissassemble my trip computer today to replace the backlights, I cracked the LCD. I was almost there too, I had all the solder cleaned out of the LCD connections and was prying it off.
So, I need the lowdown on a new, used computer. Any help?
I would be interested as well. Mine does nothing but display "162 mi" and will not change no matter what button I press.
ETA: I FIXED IT!!!
With the kind suggestion of someone in another thread, I was under the hood today replacing a lo-beam bulb and decided to try pulling and replacing the fuse to the trip computer, convenience group, etc. Well, guess what? Next time I fired it up and it worked!! As an added bonus, now the proper lights flash when I remotely lock it. That hasn't worked either since I took possession on Nov 6th. Now if I could just track down this annoying clear fluid leak from the drivers side front...........

i purchased one, but it was faulty and was disabling my alarm.. i paid like £40 on ebay and returned it to the supplier a week after. watch the ebay for these.
