does anyone know if its possible to replace the stock orange LEDs that are in the 03-05 side view mirrors? i'm interested in replacing them with Hyper White LEDs if its possible
I would imagine it is possible, but it all depends on how the LED's ara arranged. If they are in a strip across the mirror, the only simple way to swap them would be to find a replacement strip. I thought it was illegal to have any color but orange on mirrors?
Why don't you be the first and write up a DIY with photos?
In my state, the white signal lights are illegal.
i dunno about others states, in IL at least i haven't heard anything about it being illegal and even so oh well. and haven't had a chance yet to check it out for myself but i'll post something once i do
