My low-tech intuitive way to cope with this is to wash my brakes thoroughly. My wife's ML320 had this problem occasionally and everytime she turned the wheel left and right but the light came back on soon after. I did not believe that the voltage was low since I have just replaced my battery with a Mercedes original. Only thing I could think of was the sensors. Since the brake pads are very dusty they may have caused the sensors to temporarily mulfunction. Nowadays the lights still come on once in a big while but I consider it fixed...
