I've been searching for the weight of the OEM 16 inch wheel for my 99 ML320 and am having trouble finding it. Anyone know the weight? I'm trying to decide on purchasing some 20's that are 36.6 lbs, but am still up in the air about it due to the possible performance issues.

Check TireRack, they usually list wheel & tire weights. Just as reference, I just put on 19x9.5 on my 05 500 with 285/45/19 tires. They weigh in at about 2lb less than my OEM 17x8.5 EVO-II rims with about 1/2 thread left and I just gained almost 2mpg just from this. The OEM weighed at about 45lb (with 1/2 thread Dunlops). Hope this gives you some kind of reference.

I didn't know that Tirerack had info on OEM wheel weights. I can't seem to find it. Where do you see that info on Tirerack??
Actually, I should've rephrased that: They do have some information on some OEM wheels. Unfortunately, just only on a few. I checked and there's nothing about yours. Why not just take off the rim and weigh it. That's what I did with mine.
