Congrats on your new rims! You should post some photos of them.
I have the same issue as you, old OEM rims/tires taking up space. I have two sets of these 16" OEM rims, one has snow tires and the other has the General tires.
I need to get rid of the set with the General tires. The rims are in very good condition with 6/32" trend left. I prefer local pickup, I live in the Seattle area. Send me a PM and make me an offer.
I am thinking about buying a 1999 ML 430. The odometer is not working, as a result the actual mileage is unknown. It appears to be in good condition, I looked under the hood. (I will have a mechanic look at it if I decide to buy).
1. What will the gas mileage be? 2. Is it worth it ('99)? 3. Is it too costly to maintain? 4. Does the positives out weigh the negatives?
Previously, I owned a 190E 2.6 (1993)...got rear ended and totaled.
Help me figure this out PLEASE!!!!

PS: I forgot to mention...I am a GREAT FAN of the MB!
well, that is very fishy the odometer doesn't work. do carfax on the vin #. Also, the ML 430 V8 is a gas guzzler so, be weary of how much you want to invest in driving the beast.
My first choice was a 2000 ML 430 very clean only difference was the touch screen bose system, 3rd row seating, 17" wheels and bigger engine (which my ML 320 didn't have any of these) depending on the history of the 430 you want it is a an awesome truck and I'm fortunate to have mine for a long time!
I agree with body electric...do the carfax thing and be weary. What else could be wrong with the vehicle? Also, be prepared to spend some money for gas. What are they asking for the vehicle and if you buy it, can you get a warranty? I mean a good warranty, not this 30 feet or 30 seconds stuff. Good Luck!!!!
[quote=John_L]Congrats on your new rims! You should post some photos of them.
Here are some pics of my new rims. Would have prefered a lower profile tire on them but I would of gotten 18" if I were to do that. The Dunlops on them are new so had to maintain.
enjoy!
