Tres and Air Mass Censor

Greetings

has anyone one heard anything about General Grabber UHP tires, any feedback would be great.

Also dealership told me that my air mass censor needs to be replaced, 1.)is this very important, 2.) can it be a DIY job

Use the Search feature for a "mass air sensor", ton's of information. Very important part, very easy DIY.

Can't help on the Grabber's, moved onto Michellin's years ago.

Sorry about the Air Mass Sensor -changed mine @ 85K fortunately the warranty covered 100% of the $650 bill; it was discovered when my check engine light came on

I bought my ML used with brand new Grabbers. 50K miles later I had to replace them. They were so worn out at 50K & I drive the car like grandma to same on gas. They were also very noisy and bumpy regardless of pressure on the tires. Replaced them with BF Duehlers. Excellent tires!

We still have original Grabbers on rear axle.
After 8 years/61000 miles they have thread for about another 2 to 4 k.
They are noisily, but probably the best bang for a dollar.
MAF sensor cost about $200 and if dealer charge $400 for 2-minutes labor, what can I say?
