Any update on startup logo for MCS - Benzworld.org

There were a couple of posts regarding changing the startup logo for MCS ie; AMG or whatever.

Did anyone figure out a way to do it?

umm i dono i am not sure about it
but what u can do with a Star is change BOSE logo on start up and u can put some time delay when u turn ur ignition off the msc stays on for whatever time u want ... mine turn's of 5 sec after the car is of ..

i was reading the thread and was wondering how you would accomplish that task? to set the delay on the MCS to turn off after 5 secs or even longer?? i have a 2000 ML320

l know, their are a few things you can do...l had my MCS screen changed from black to blue...which was nice......and l've seen the BOSE logo on as well...l'm sure it has to be done at the dealership....Any luck with those Pirelli's...l have the 255/60/17's.....and l love them.....why are you getting rid of them ???? l should have bought the 275's, l like the wider profile.....Oh well, you know what they say, a thinner tire cuts through the snow better............

Wait. You can change the screen on MCS?? I did not know that (one of the reason can be my french MCS manual and I dont know french). Anyways, anyone tell me how to change the screen, plus the startup logo. Also does anyone have an English version of the MCS guide (may be an electronic version).

My dealer (MB of Sacramento) tried and tried, and couldnt activatae the startup screen that says "BOSE".

They said that it was due to a software update which would not allow the setting to stick.

They updated the software right before I purchased it certified.
