Anyone can tell me how is possible, and if is possible, to unlock the TV on my Command on ML400 MY2002. My kids want to see the tv even when the car is moving.

Can only be done by an old version of the SDS (Diagnosis) Computer.
You need to go to an audio shop that specializes in this!..... Heaps of them here in Germany

Usually there are many listings on ebay.de offering this as a service if your either come by with your car, or if you send the Comand to them!. I was going past audiocomp's place one day some months ago in "Duisburg" Germany ... and got him to activate this option on my way through.
I've seen as little as 50Euros in some place in Munich.... Just search on ebay.de with the string "Mercedes TV Freischaltung".

There was a change in EU law some time back that prohibited this feature ... MB made sure it's dealers couldn't ever provide their customers with programming services ... so the SDS software was changed for the Star Computer to prevent this option from being used (In fact the new software deleted this option from your comand software).
PS: It's a 10 Second job! Just a menu option in the SDS software program (connected to your ML via the ODB connector)

In the TV paramaters menu change the 4 configurables to 'TV permitted'

Take your car to your dealer, and talk to the guy who is responsible for the Star Diagnostic System.
Ask him to do the following:
1. Menu “TV in Motion� is greyed out (German: TV während der Fart)
2. Activate the “Rear Seat Monitor� (even if it’s not installed) (German: Heckmonitore freigeben)
3. Then you will have access to the menu: “TV in motion�. Activate it.
4. Go to the menu: DVD-Region. If it’s EUROPE, change it to D (Germany) and back to Europe
5. Give the guy some pocket money

The young lad is making up a power lead for my TV-Tuner..... I bought the TV harness from them also....
All the audio shops that do the TV whilst driving switch , need to get their costs of the Diag Computer back again , so that's why it costs so much for the 10 Sec job!..... anywhere from 50-199 Euros!.
.. If I had a SDS Computer I would do it for almost free ... just to get rid of this big scam!
