Bluetooth Kit for ML

Hello folks,

Here's the next mod I am waiting for: http://www.wireless4mb.com/btsolutions.aspx according to the website, it will be available within 30-60 days. But I think the problem is I will probably need to buy the old Hands-Free Communication Systems. Maybe I should just buy a $69 motorola bluetooth earphone.[:D] A lot cheaper. Will wait until it it available.

when I checked with Motorola Razr, they went to the page of Motorola V60, so I think maybe moto uses same BT technology so that all Moto will work. That's just my assumption.[8)]

I am thinking that if the site come up with the V60, even though you put in the razar, you are not likley to use the razar. my 2c

Hell,

I'm thinking about just purchasing a Verizon V60 off ebay and activating it.

Would that just be a plud and play without this bluetooth adapter or would I have to have this adapter for it to be recognized.

RE: Bluetooth Kit for ML

If it is bluetooth compatible I am sure basic functions on any phone should work. My Siemens SX66 works great in my friend's BMW525.

My question is will I need to buy the Mercedes phone kit and then add the bluetooth adapter to it?

RE: Bluetooth Kit for ML

Just got off the phone to them.... ordered the MHI kit (which plugs straight into my UHI setup) .... apparantly fully compatible with the existing D2B UHI setup....

PS: Decided to go for the V3 RAZR phone as well!. (GSM - Unlocked)

She (Yes it was an opportunity to flirt!) also said that although other model phones are bluetooth enabled , compatibilty is usually a problem , because the software versions on the phone (controlling the bluetooth communication) are categorized into what she called ranges. This means that a lot of phones will experience unusual behaviour like :-

1. Cutting off at times
2. Missing incomming calls
3. Person at the other end can't hear you

etc,etc.....

Great Informarmation "willischou"! Thanks for the update! Been looking for a way to get rid of that phone console for quite some time now!.

PS: Wolfgang's site is updated with the latest MHI information!.

Why does no one support Nextel, very irritating.
