what country code does it change to? did you change instrument clusters by any chance? perhaps something isn't coded correctly. If you are still under warranty, have them diagnose and replace the trip computer
Mine keeps changing to KM every-time i start the car. How do you change it to keep in US measurements when you start the car. Thanks
Does it lose other settings, too, like the date? Does it show other strange information? If so, you may need a new TC. Some very late build 2001’s and the 2002’s had defective TC’s that would reset and scrambles themselves. It also caused occasional false alarms. It took me about three replacements to finally get a good one.
