Unhappy fuel

i only seem to be getting 5 volts to the fuel pump?

Measured where? The crimp electrical connections on late MB are not the strong points. You need to track the voltage drop from the fuse panel.

Please take a minute to update your profile in USER CP to the left, to include the year and model of your truck.

Not knowing the year of your truck, or whether or not you have the upgraded filter, you will have to remove the L/R wheel and the liner and compare the filter and number of lines as depicted in drawing on page 2 of first PDF.

If your filter looks identical to the drawing then just follow the instructions in the second PDF.

If your filter does not look identical to the drawing then you must follow the instructions in the first PDF, which requires the addition of another line. Purchase the filter and line (if necessary) at the dealer.

change the pump, i got mine replaced and its now a different car.

HEY 43SGD,

CAN YOU HELP ME ? I HAVE 98 ML 320 I HAVE LACK OF POWER IN TOP LOW RPM IS GOOD. GOT A LOT OF ERROR CODE S LIKE BANK1 LIMIT HAS REACHED ITS LIMIT, MISFIRE CYL 1 AND THREE. MY CATS WERE BAD I HAD THEM EMPTIED OUT. IT HAS BETTER TOP POWE RNOW BUT STILL NOT ENOUGH. DO YOU THINK IT CAN BE CRANK SENSOR GOING BAD IN HIGH RPM ? OR DO YOU THINK FUEL ISSUE. LOW RPM IS PERFECT SMOOTH RUNNING ENGINE.
