It was repaired on campaign before I bought it. Now there is a puddle of power steering fluid under the vehicle coming from the bottom hose! I wonder if they really fixed it the first time or just somehow tightened the clamp. Anyone else had a campaign repair on this go afoul? [:(]
There have actually been two recalls on the PS hose, and I do recall hearing several accounts of even the second clamp replacement failing. It seems the issue is not really the clamp itself, but the lack of any flaring on the nipple that the hose connects to. If you could find a shop that could flare it for you, then the clamp would be a non-issue.
