was talkin to a buddy of mine...fellow bw member ;-) and i was ranting about the crazy price for a little cupholder spring when he suggested why not ask and see if there are any known junkyards in the area that might have an ML for parts?
anyhow ive noticed that there are some people here that are in california, and was wondering if any of the members knew of any such junk yard :-) who would have thought that a tiny twisted piece of metal would cost so much hahaha [}:)]
There used to be a large junkyard tucked away off Anaheim Blvd. It's now 10 years ago and I don't remember the name.
I used to go for my Porsche. I remember they had MB's there too.

Good luck, please post the info if you find one. I called around once, found one with an ML, but they won't let you pull parts. Paying their fee would have made the small bits nearly the same price a the dealership.
I paid $15 for the small plastic disc on the side seat cover. I should have checked the price before ordering.
I need 2 of 163 980 02 64 for the seat, dealer wants $55. A discount parts source would be nice.

i was actually looking for the cup holder spring. only one side pops out heh..the car must have eaten the other one since its no where to be found @.@
