ML Drivetrain VS E Class drivetrain(car vs truck) all models
Fellas:
I was sitting here thinking of wierd "things that make you go hmmmmm thoughts". Is it just me, or does my ML 430 seem to have more engine related issues than the E430? I have had similar issues with my other vehicles. I have a 1988 Mustang 5.0 that runs wonderful with 130k on the odometer, whereas my 1991 Full Size Bronco with the same 5.0 is leaking oil from the rear main, oil pan, and valve cover gaskets. The FSB has 125 on the clock[:(]
RE: ML Drivetrain VS E Class drivetrain(car vs truck) all models
thats a great question; especially as i ponder an E-class for my gal to drive;a second hand E-320 or E-430 (an E 55 would be nicer, but wait, i might give her the ml and drive the 55, but the $$$$??)..maybe its just the BIG difference in weight?

The E Class have problems as well. Have a tour of their Forum or maybe one of the guys with access to the Service Campaigns can put some of them up.
The ML gives you a lot of car (or truck)for the money. I was going to get another E Wagon and figured I could get a lot more for the money from an ML. You just have to put some of the money you saved aside for preventative or post catastrophe maintenance and of course you can always spend some on "pimping your ride" like some here do!
All cars have "issues" its just about the amount of money you paid for them and the commitment of the company to fix them.
