RE: Help... My entire instrument cluster just died...

On your 2000 model, the following fuses and relays have some bearing on the instrument cluster. Check them all as a starting point:

Passenger footwell: F1, F5.

Main box under the hood: F16, F2, F25, F5, F9, K5 (relay), K12 (relay).

i know this sounds crazy but give it a day it will come back. mine has gone out many a time and comes back on in a day. its worth a try and doesnt cost anything. unless its been out for a few days then its a fuse it doesnt sound like a bulb it would be very rare for all the bulbs to die together.

Try removing it and re-installing it (there are instructions here somewhere – it’s an easy job). Take special care to insure that the electrical connector is properly seated and locked in place. It’s possible it has come loose, probably because the dealer replaced bulbs in it and did not securely connect it.

EDIT: Look on Ken's site for instructions:

Are you saying nothing works at all (ie:speedometer, gas guage and trip computer is out) or is it just all the lights are not lighting up but everything works?

I've noticed mine just started not responding until after the car has been on for approx 3 to 5 seconds....... wasn't like this until just yesterday.....

1. Start car..... gas guage, temp gauge normally respond right away, but now they're both taking the 3 to 5 seconds to respond.......

Can you guys check and see if your are responding right away........

And something else I noticed, after I turn the car off their turning off (moving to the off position) but the gas guage seems to be ticking for about 3 to 5 seconds after I turn the truck off, never seen this before? Wanted to check with the board before I start checking for a fuse that's blown or a relay that's out.....

EXACT same symptoms happened to me right before my extended warranty ran out. Got a new cluster out of it. Maybe there is a simpler solution, however I didn't mind getting a new cluster.
