My SA just called me and told me that they finished the Harmonic and Cat recall. Checking the car the mechanic found that the front transfer case is shot. I noticed in the past that when I switched to “Low� that it clanked but didn’t think it was a problem.
He already called the warranty company and they approved it...$$$$

What are good options if an extended warranty is about to end. My trunk is paid off and I'm probably going to keep it and wouldn't mine paying for another warranty for say another 2 or 3 years.
Any recommendations on a good warranty service on cars over 5 years old? Mine is an 00 ML430 with 79K on it.
Current MB extended warranty ends in January of 06.
