Help with BAS/ESP ETS ABS

Hello fellow forum members. I am sure someone here with knowledge of this problem will be able to help me.

My wife's 2000 ML320 has this problem:

Upon start up, after hitting about 15MPH 3 dash warning lights come on. BAS/ESP, ETS and ABS. If I stop and restart the vehicle the lights go out, but come back on after hitting about 15 mph.

Does anyone know the possible fault and a possible fix as I do not want to take it to my stealership and get raped again.

Mine was a bad ABS Relay, caused all 3 lights to come on soon after start up.

$15 part from the dealer, haven't had a problem since.

The part is now $20, but is VERY easy to install....

I thought about buying extras...

I had the same problem. Had the switch replaced, then had the switch go bad again causing my brakes lights to remain lit....

You will find that your cruise control will not work if those lights are on.

The part number is embossed right on top of the relay. Should be a Hella part made in Spain, MB part 002 542 15 19 or similar, since it might depend on the year of the ML.

Thanks guys! Just ordered 002 542 15 19 which my dealer confirmed was the correct part for my ML.

The cost: $8.51 including tax.

Well, I put the new relay in tonight and Viola!! Problem Solved! Thanks everyone for your help!!!
