RE: Xenon HID Convsersion Kits

You still have to remember you can aim them in different ways. Mine are much more spread than the retro-fit ones in your pic. I'll post pics of them tonight or tommorow.

I'm not saying I'm 100% correct, but I still dont see the big deal with doing a retro-fit. I just dont feel that those reading this should be scared away from it if that's the route they choose to take! [^]

Sorry for the dumb question, fellas, but here goes. If I have retrofit OEM Hella b-Xenons, what light do I have? 4300k?

I've done many myself and some have not worked and some have been of the off-the-charts-I'm-so-cool variety. I just happen to agree with Drew's conservative stance when it comes to ML headlights. Remember, Drew is the "lighting guru" and I totally trust his advice in this arena. Any mod that does not cause parts to break, melt or shorten the expected oem life--it's all good. To each his own--we are just offering an opinion. Driving with the standard bi-xenons in the dark on a two-lane highway whether in low or high beam mode is awesome as is. Plus you have the peace of mind...hey, risk takers and pioneers are what make this world great like it is. Experiment and try new things! If it works it works.

Well I think the big thing is, if you already have the projector lamps why buy the same lamps when you can just do the Xenon upgrades. I know Drew is the light GURU!! But just do what you feel is right. Read what you see here and decided what is right for you.
