Will my Tire Survive a Few More Days???
The right rear has a slow leak - it goes from 32psi to 14psi and stays there - 14psi, the rim is still fairly suspended by air in the tire. I'm going out of town for about a week and I have my first A service scheduled as soon as I'm back in town - the tire will be fixed then. Am I risking damage to the tire, letting it sit like that? Flat spot? etc?? I do plan to fully inflate it to max tire wall pressure b4 I leave town.

Why not jack up that side of the vehicle so that there is zero stress on the tire while you are gone? [:)]

I suggest this as well ... or try the "fix-a-flat" can (works great if the puncture is not on your sidewall) so it will hold air till you get it properly patched.

Expect the possibility of a flat tire upon your return. Weeks a long time even jacked up. Do not use fix a flat, ever!!

Thanks sosh. I agree that it'll be flat. The good news is that it holds air for at least 24hrs. Since I have a service appointment the next day after my return, I'll just reinflate and take her in for service.
Got the 500 yet? They're looking good!!! How's the E?

I agree. Used it a few years ago on one of my wife's wheels. It makes a huge mess in there and in my case I had to purchase a new tire...

I used it one time and it EAT the inside of the tire up! They couldn't even patch it. We had to plug it. The tire was never any good afterwards. Finally had to replace!

Absolutely!! Bad Bad.... very Bad. Cost me 568.00 in two new tires, and they said it was all because of Fix-a- Flat!!!!!!!
