Well since the aux is not available in ML's, I retrofitted an E-Class Loom into my glovebox and pushed the pins into the c2 plug on the comand.
The main point to consider is that you can't just drill the hole anywhere, and you also need to consider what happens if your glovebox is full! The best choice is to place it as far forward as possible on the inside righthand side.
Thanks guys! Since I'm an old IT person, I do my best to keep the "reuse" aspect (That can be followed!) in my mods!.
I hope the next mod (It's a secret just now), is going to help every forum member!.
Real exited about it , and hope I get it to work!
I made the cable myself because:-
1. I wanted a shielded cable
2. A good one was too long, and too expensive at the local hifi store
3. The price of a 1m cable and gold tip connectors was 1/3 the price!.
Do you like my current rear "parktronic"?. It has only a single level of adjustment. The sound comes on when I'm 6 inches from the car when reversing!
cheers

Oh, it seems my humor is very special!. I was refering to the hitch!!!!
The single adjustment is the fix postion of the hitch.... the sound comes from the bang that the driver behind me makes when he bumps into my hitch.....
.... and it's got a good feature you guys don't have ..... it's got a Parktronic Warning service for those trying to park in behind me!!!!!
It's not permitted to be mounted if not towing, but I still leave it on permanently!

Proper OEM parktronic with visual display is my guess for your next project...
