2. OEM TV-Tuner & PS2 (Connected to the Comand)

3. Polished Roof Rail

4. Reconditioned my front bumper

5. AMG Chrome Grill & Window Sills

7. AMG 18" Winter RIMS/Wheels (Summer 20" Brabus monoblock)

1. Replace interior side mouldings/panels with MY2004 versions

2. OEM VES install

3. FUMOTO Oil drain valve for easy bottom drain oil changes

2. AMG Brake Calipers

3. MY2002+ (Facelift) update to A/C controls & center console (Window Switches, etc.....)

4. OEM Parktronic (Probably before mod 3.)

2. Parking Heater (WEBASTO) .... Programmable with remote, timer, or mobile phone (SMS)

That is a very ambitious list. I would ask if it is worth it with these cars though. I paid about $7000 for my '98 and was planning on spending another $1000 or so upgrading the bumper covers to spruce up the looks, but after driving this car for the past few weeks I am having second thoughts. I can see why it was so cheap; my previous '96 Explorer felt more solid on the road.

Your 2000 must be heading for a similar resale value of next to nothing in the near future....

Sure , Definately not financially worth doing anything to the truck!

..... but the entertainment value is certainly there.

..... Besides I got/get most of the pieces dirt cheap anyway .....

PS: My biggest costs are not the mods, but rather the OEM parts that I need when the truck breaks,... Locks, switches, glovebox handle, sunroof, rear door lock, etc...

You can see immediately of you have a Comand or MCS!. They are look entirely different !
