Okay,
Been having a problem with the "wood" surround around the radio...it is coming loose and appears to have been glued on previously. Radio is therefore loose and makes a lot of noise upon minor to moderate impacts on road while driving.
Also, the entire dash seems to make noise as if everything is loose inside. Anyone else had the same problems and any recommendations?
Thanks in advance!!!
Kindest regards,[:)][:0]

This sounds like more than loose trim. The wood panel is held on with several metal trim clips and it is generally a fairly secure fit. The radio slides into a double-DIN slot and is held in place by spring-loaded “ears on either side. These “ears are released when a special tool is inserted into the slots on the face of the radio. The face of the radio sits against a flange on the wood trim panel, so the wood panel could only be loose if the radio were also loose. Since you say that both the wood panel and the radio are loose, my guess is that the support they attach to behind the dash are either broken or have come detached. I can’t immediately recall how they are assembled, but I believe these support are plastic and are screwed into the metal dash supports. I’d remove the radio and wood trim to investigate further.
