Thought It was a Head Gasket Leak

But it turned out to be the oil filler cap gasket. Easy DIY fix and the part was $3.50 Canadian. Got some good help from mercedesshop.com original thread is their. http://www.mercedesshop.com/shopforum/showthread.php3?t=127891

Boy, no wonder they put a plastic cover over the top of the engine, that's an ugly looking engine! How does the plastic cover come off? I've yet to have mine off but want to soon to clean the engine and compartment...

Just pull straight up on both front sides, then the back right. It just pops off.
