RE: Wipers
Its not a problem its part of the system design to let the driver know that the wipers are on auto. If you do not like this there is an easy fix, just turn the wipers off before you shut down the car

RE: Wipers
IIRC, the 2004 and 2005s do not do the self-test any longer.

RE: Wipers
My 2001 does not do this. Are you sure your rain sensor function is working? Mine once developed a loose connection and it started doing some strange things.

Your a funny bunny! It's pouring down here! and it's middle of summer!
The last few days have been amazing! During the day it alternates at least 5-8 times between rain and sunshine. Yesterday was even better ... the sun was shinning and it was raining at the same time!
