I'm considering a 2002 ML500 vs a 2002 Range Rover. They have similar features and mileage (about 45k miles each). Prices are $29k for the Rover and $27k for the ML500. I hope to use this for business (about 10000 miles per year) and some travel and boat towing. Maybe including a trip late this summer from Kentucky to Alaska for a month on the road. After several back surgeries, I'm interested in recommendations for comfort. Reliability and service are also concerns. I'm OK with most DIY projects, repairs or upgrades. I would appreciate any recommendations or directions to other forums. Thanks, Ken
They both are nice vehicles. The Rover is more comfortable though. The Rover also tows more, depending on the size of your boat. Why did you want the 2002 Rover vs. the redesigned one in 2003, especially considering the 2k3 may still have a factory warranty?
Thank you for the reply. I didn't know about the redesign. Only that the 2002's are both on ebay at decent prices.
I'll look for a 2003 now.
Thanks again, Ken
