Stock wheel specs

Does anyone have specs for the various stock wheels (including offset). I want to compare them to the W164 to see what might be transferable.

Thanks, Greg

RE: Stock wheel specs

Wolfgang has it on his website. Here is what I recall (no guarantees[:)])

Early model ML 320
16x7 ET 62

Late model ML 320
17x8 ET 52

ML 55 AMG
18x9 ET 52

A few aftermarket tuners that make Mercedes specific wheels had some offsets around 44. Many generic aftermarket wheels have offsets around 38. At 38, the tire seems flush to the body (on top), but sticks outside the fender well as the body tapers downward. All are in the 5x112 bold pattern.

I have never found any info about the weight of the various wheels.

Thanks--I didn't find it on the website. That's what I'm looking for.

Greg, Harald has a table on his site, that's why don't have it, no need to duplicate.

Thanks Wolfgang. Poor memory recall on my part.[:)]

The table says that the ML 55 AMG wheels has an offset of 42mm. When I was considering purchasing those wheels I was told that the offset is 52mm. Can you confirm which it is??

Thanks

Rick, you are correct. The ML55 AMG comes with 9J x 18 H2 ET52 wheels. I used to have a page with wheels and offsets, maybe I can find it somewhere.. [:)]

RE: Stock wheel specs

Hi. I am getting aftermarket wheels and want the wheel flush with the fender. Right now I have the stock 16x8 with 62mm offset. I have 265/75/16 size tires and they still sit way inside the fenderwell.
I found 2 sets of rims sized:
16x7.5 with 25mm offset and 16x7.5 with 35 offset.
with my tire set up which one would bring me flush with the fender? remember the new wheels are 1/2 inch narrower than what i have....Is there any rubbing issues? thanks in advance....
