Bi-Xenons... Canadian

Looking at upgrading to the Bi-Xenon's on my 99ML 430. I am in Canada and have the daytime running lights (automatic lights on function when truck is started) and was wondering if I purchased a set of Bi-Xenon's from the US whether I would still have my automatic lights on feature or not... any ideas? and would I have to get new wiring harness's/pigtails?.. maybe some of my canadian counterparts can help me cause I know some of you have done this mod. Cheers Mates [:)]

You will need the pigtails in order to swap the pinouts; you can do it manually, but it will be not exactly a plug and play operation.

And yes, your daytime running lights will still be retained. The low beams will simply come on as you currently have, for your DRLs. Given how bright the lights are, your ML will stand out even in the daytime!

Hi there, whereabouts in BC are you? We actually have a number of people in this forum that are in the Lower Mainland.

Regarding the bulbs, certainly take out your PIAAs as you can re-use the H7s in the Bi-Xenon's halogen high beams.

Also, be sure to read my Bi-Xenon flash-to-pass modification in the BenzWorld tech publication section.
