how many brake sensors in front and rear? can i re-use these sensors or replace it. i just notice some brake pad brands ask vehicle ID specially for the rear pads and some doesnt. brands that doesnt specify vehicle ID means it will fit as long as its the same year model? thank you.
yes, you can re use the old sensor as long as the wire is not worn out, and there is only one sensor on ML320 one in front and one in the rear both on driver side.

Hi Noy[;)]
So far I been happy with Mintex, less dust and quite. I went to mintex after two OEM replacement. I changed my rotor as well when I used the Mintex, this is only for the front btw, my second OEM on the rear is still 50% so it will be a while before I change it.
I got my Mintex from a local European parts store here in my area and it cost me $56.00 and some change, very cheap i think compare to the OEM at $92.00. Call around..

My 2001 ML320 had four sensors – one for each wheel. The Rotex pads I bought came with new front sensors, but the rears did not. In order to be able to reuse the rear sensors, I would have had to modify the pads (by drilling holes), so I left them off.
interesting. some ML320 have 2 sensors (1 front & 1 rear) and some ML320 have 4 sensors (1 per wheel). i wonder when they start changing from 2 to 4 sensors or from 4 to 2 sensors...
I don't know when it was changed, but I have a "2001.5" ML - mine was coming off the line along with MY2002's in April 2001. Maybe that has somethign to do with it.
