RE: Central Locking
after searching the net I found this
Your Service Dept. has a device called an AAM (All Activity Module) which
permits him (her) to program different features on your ML. Some of these
features include:
1) Doors to auutomatically lock when the ML reaches 7-9 mph.
I've always wanted this feature, I guess I will take it in and see if they will do it for me free

RE: Central Locking
Actually your *vehicle* has a device called an AAM that controls most of the non-engine electornics on it. The service center uses an HHT (hand-held tool, a.k.a. Star Diagnostics) to program the AAM. If your vehicle is in for some other work and you have a good relationship with your service center, you may be able to get this changed for free. Otherwise, expect to pay .5 hours of labor.
