RE: Anyone ever hear of this supercharger? If it is even one.

Ranks right up there with the megnets that align your gas molecules for increased economy. Save your money. 10 -15% increase? That's ludicrous! If it adds ANY power, it's probably just enough to generate the electricity needed to drive it. It's nice you have your choice of air filter colors, though!

Buying a tornado would be less of a waste of money

snake oil exists in many forms. A joke if there ever was one. Ranks up there with dealer adding rubber mats for free!

RE: Anyone ever hear of this supercharger? If it is even one.

Please dont buy that ... you are better off planting your money hoping for a money tree to grow. These shams are a complete JOKE and it's absolutley painfull to watch people actually purchase them.

RE: Anyone ever hear of this supercharger? If it is even one.

You do realize that is not a real supercharger??? but mearly a electric fan that goes inline with the airbox.
I have seen some claim 400cfm if you want a supercharger save the bucks for a Kleman

RE: Anyone ever hear of this supercharger? If it is even one.

http://www.myhps.com/index.html

for about $8500 installed

or the ultimate for a lot more

http://www.kleemann.dk/site/Main/thecars/mlw163

that other product is not a supercharger, it is a fan that may trick your MAF to have more air, so the ECU can give more boost and you might feel a little kick.( you have the same kick when you do regular maint) so does it work? may be if the injectors and spark plugs are clean, your maf is working good, and you replaced your ecu chip. So the answer is do not throw money to the trash can, and better spend it in a good set of spark plugs the 16 of them, change your filters, change your fluids, and maybe an underdrive pulley set will work much better than that POS.

well on the ML. You have to make many other adjustments to get the thing to maximize what it supposedly can do--if it even can in fact increase your horsepower without affecting the ML in other negative ways. We all want the cheapest solution to more horespower. But there is none.

I have 10K miles on the Kleemann and just had it checked out to make sure everything is working properly. It is! And it's a great toy to have if you love your ML and plan on keeping it. I agree the true rewards of spending the money are felt in a a car and not a truck. But I need a truck. I love this truck. And I simply wanted it to have more power with the comfort of knowing I can take it to an MB dealer for maintainence as if it were installed at the factory. I have not regretted buying the Kleemann Kompressor for one second. It is perfect in every way and worth the bucks.

If you are really rich you can get Renntech upgrades to your ML as well. But you have to pay to ship the ML to Florida and be without her for 2-3 weeks. But once back home you are on your own to find someone that can actually work on it. The guy who started Renntech is an AMG god that left MB to start his own firm. SO the Renntech stuff is basically AMG stuff.

Another really cool site that I re-load over and over again when I have a really bad day at work [turn up the volume full blast before you enter but make sure the wife and kids are not around] is:

RE: Anyone ever hear of this supercharger? If it is even one.

well if you spent that much money on the supercharger and you really do not feel it, then you should bring it back or consider getting a x5is or a cayenne turbo then you will be doing 5 seconds flat.
