eBay or salvage yards...the caveat of using eBay is that many of the units are stolen from saps like you and me. I bought a stolen one and the seller was never heard from again. The credit card company was nice enough to give me full credit for the transaction because the seller's bank couldn't even get a hold of him.

But if they claim that the radio code is included....is it an issue? Where did you run into problems and how did you know it was stolen?

Long story...but I ended up reselling it on eBay and the buyer had a friend who looked up the serial number. The buyer didn't care but thought I'd like to know about it. I ended refunding him some $$$ for the trouble and after contesting the charge against the phanton seller, the CC company gave me a full refund. At the end of the day, I ended up with a few hundred extra $$$, enough to cover my inconvenience. Wasn't really worth the hassle though, so beware when buying on eBay.

80% of things on ebay are stolen

which is why I ONLY buy NEW and SEALED but for the MCS make sure radio code is included and your set

the things on ebay that are new sealed that are the same price as if you were to buy at a store arent stolen

ebays moto if its to good to be true then its stolen
