Heater/AC blower seems slow...sounds bad

Anyone have the motor that blows the air for the heat/AC go bad?

How much was the fix?

Mine is groaning and seems to be struggling to blow air. I would guess about half the normal volume of air at each speed.

99 ML 430 85k miles.

Thanks,

Dave

I had a similar problem, after I went through a touchless carwash. There were some leaves and pine needles on the grate by the wipers and I guess some found their way inside something. It seems to have cleared up?

Don't know if the circumstance is the same in your case?

How did it start etc?

Mr Greenm3, what your car needs is another adventure thru Death Valley.
I'll be in you neck of the woods at Laguna Seca Tuesday with my new ride. Stop by and say hi. BTW, my ML is silver as your now.

I will be in Denver.

Death Valley?

You mean the place where I locked my keys in the ML?

[:D]

I have had many people point to the image of my broken rear wing window and speculate about the ML's ability to handle off-road conditions.

I tell them that you need to modify your ML if you want to avoid this kind of damage. You must get a hide-a-key.

That rescue hammer you sent me would have been great. Except it would have been locked INSIDE the car.

LOL

What is at Laguna Seca on Tuesday? What kind of Land Rover did you get? I am not surprised that you would get one after seeing how well they performed in DV.

Hey...if only our MLs had better wheel articulation. We could go much faster over stuff.
