Steering pump hose ... find new hose type on ebay ....
I saw the steering pump hose on ebay saying new style that MB came out with, preventing hose to coming off the radiator / clamp, but I called the MB dealer and they never heard of it.
Any ideas ... my warranty expires this month, I would like to have it replaced if possible.
I still have extended warranty, but I rather have this changed now. Recall was done and then three times hose came out and was fixed by the dealer, until last time it came out and I fixed it myself and it holds since then.

You don't need to have a warranty to be covered for a Recall issue.

According to the letter from Mercedes-Benz, dated March 2004, third paragraph, it states they will extend the warranty on the recall repair i.e. repair of the lower power steering hose connection done pursuant to the subject recall, for the period up to 10 years from the original warranty start date for your vehicle.
That being said, it sounds like just the clamp is covered. I believe they also replaced the hose on mine when the second recall was done on my truck. [;)]
