aren't whipple superchargers and some others cost $2500+ for Chevy's or something? anyone asked one of those manufacturers how much it would cost to make a supercharger for the ML?
HPS a site sponser make one that fits the ML.. I think they are cheaper than Kleemann
Superchargers for american V-8s are significantly less expenssive. I have no idea why. For V-8 Mercedes, supperchargers seem to range from $7,000 - $11,000 plus installation.
As far as I know HPS only makes a supercharger for the V-8 (i.e. ML430, 500, 55). My survery is specifically for the ML 320/350, for which I have only seen the Kleeman Supercharger. For the V-6, the Kleeman is about $8,500 plus installation.
Wait for a Chrysler Crossfire SRT to get Wrecked and by the SuperCharged 3.2 v-6 A-LA- Mbenz motor, then drop it into your truck. All Crossfires have OUR motor in them, the SRT is the Supercharged version.[:D]

by that logic you can get the c32 motor.
YES!!! That is correct. The following quote is from the August 2004, Car and Driver.
"Shorn of its decorative plastic sombrero, this Mercedes engine would look more familiar. It rolls out of the AMG handicraft shop in Affalterbach, Germany, and previously found work in the SLK32 AMG and C32 AMG. Both of those models have since gone to V-8s, and Mercedes has developed a new 268-hp, twin-cam, four-valve naturally aspirated V-6 for its 2005 SLK350 (C/D, June 2004). So the Crossfire SRT-6 is the last customer of a very nice hand-me-down."
Having owned two SVT Lightnings and now a 2003 S/C Harley Davidson Edition F150 (four door Lightning) with roots style superchargers, fabrication of the lower intake would be a pretty big hurdle. The plumbing from the air filter to the supercharger and the crank pulley setup would be a close second.
Fabricating the brackets and crank pulley on a centrifugal setup (ala Vortech, Paxton, ATI, Powerdyne) might be easier due to possibly not having to rework the hood to accommodate the addition.
Tuning it after the blower maximizes the MAF voltage so the engine doesn't explode during the first WOT run would entail a significant amount of time a dyno with someone that knows what the heck they are doing and/or rebuilding the smallblock with beefier pistons, rods, crank, etc. Read: Cost vs. end result.
As for pricing of the current offerings, face it, there isn't a large market for supercharged ML's. Sad really.
Use the following link to show her what a value the Kleemann is:

Just trying to help! Good luck.[;)]
Too further add to the cost they wanted me to ship my car down to FL so they could install at their shop. They do have some nice menu items though!

do you think its possible to do the brabus 5.8 conversion and then do the kleemann supercharger? Is there a way to get a combo of the both? And what about the Tranny rebuild by Renntech aswell, you see i think you are going to mod? I know it sounds retarted to do all three plus the amt of money that may go into it, but hey you might get it as hot as the GamballaCayenne, which is superhot! Then a few bodywork and interior, then you'll all set....
