you sure it's not AC condensation?

Might be nothing more serious than....

condensation from your air conditioner matrix. If so, perfectly normal and it shows your AC is working ok !
If it's not the above - what color / viscosity is the fluid ?

if this 'drip' is normal for all ml's, should i be worried about future rust damage?

I had the same problem with my previous ML. After visiting the dealer 3 times finally I myself found out that it was the water reservoir for windshield washer was leaking. Just go with your hand under the water reservoir and see if it is wet.

RE: puddle in my driveway

163,
check your battery, it could be leaking, i had that problem on my OEM battery, but it was too late when I found out that leak was from my battery vent. If its leaking have the dealer replace it ASAP, before it ruin your inner fender. It was too late on mine[:(][:(]so I had to take the whole tray and repainted it again.

your is still cover with warranty
