i tore apart the seats today and it's pretty straight forward. you'll need to be carful when you pop out the plastic trim. if you have a short stubby flathead scewdriver, it works well to pop them off. the only things that suck are the number of torx bolts and how heavy the seats are! i didnt want to scratch my door panels or the wheel wells (since the rear doors dont open that wide) so i opted to slide the larger bench seat out the back. i also took the time to clean out the crap that settles down there. here's what i found:
1) green lego
2) i small dorito
3) a few frnch fry's
4) 43 cents
The subject of this topic was rear seat.
However, if you pardon me for diverting the topic to front seats...
Do we need to disable to belt tensioners before we remove the front seats? On my BMW 328i, the Bentley procedure specifically states that we need to disable the pyro(??) belt tensioner; otherwise, serious damage may occur.
