Does anyone know if you can purchase that visor separately and install it on a 1998 ML320? If so, where do I purchase it?

It would be nice to have that instead of the openers that clip on to the visor. Just curious.

Don't you have the garage door opener holder compartment in your overhead console?

RE: ml 430 and garage opener

I discovered that certain older (12 yrs. +) garage door opener transmiters are not compatible with the Home Link system. In my case I had to purchase and install a new transmiter (about $20.00) with up-to-date coding in order to get the thing to work.
