Looking at a 1999 ML430 with 62000 miles located in Florida ($21000). Vendor says car is in great condition (as usual) Is there any thing specific I should be watching out for on this model and Year. I am new to the Benz community. Those of you with experience Please give me some insight into mechanical or electrical problems that are common to this year and model. Or please give me some guidence as to where to look on the net.

Welcome to the board, hope you have found ML which suits your needs - they are truly one of the safest and most advanced SUV's available, but they do have some 'baggage'.
If you're expecting Lexus like reliability, then by a Lexus
Follow this thread - read it all the way thru' - if nothing else make sure you have a good read of the ML's service history to make sure it's had all the required upgrades performed.
If the vendor can't or won't provide the service info - see if you can get it from a main dealer.
