Mercedes Benz offers a line of armored cars, with different levels of protection.

Both the S (S-Guard) and G (G-Guard) can be ordered directly from MB.

I hear the ML55K is inherently bullet proof since you can outrun a 22LR, 44, 357, .38S and even catch it after a quick 40,000 Km road trip...

did you ever get your cars bulletproof? I think it would have been cheaper to just buy a junk car to drive in the ghetto and remain incognito.

would you really want to take your chance to find out how well the bullet proof resistant glass works? I know someone in Oakland who had an attempted carjack when she was getting into her BMW 7series, if the attacker gets you when you're outside of the car what's the point of the armored car, now you've given the theft something even the cops will have trouble stopping.
