ML 320 Navigation System - Benzworld.org

Hi all!

I have just purchased a pre-owned 2000 ML 320. (my first MB!) And I have a few questions regarding the Navigation system. First, how does the darn thing work? I know it requires cds for the maps, but how are these used? The car has a cd changer only in the rear. Does the navsys work with this or is there another electronic component needed?

The manuals that came with the car are not very informative and neither are the people at our local MB dealer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is there a button on the nav display (upper right, beside the screen) that says "Open"?

press it. the display will swing down, exposing a CD player.

unless your 2000 is different than my 2002.

Thanks Bruce. So I take it then that the system only works with said cd player? Unfortunately, I only have a cassette player there.

The Ml320 does not come with navigation standard. Unless the original owner had it installed.

You do not have navigation.
