Check the tires. The only thing to worry about is whether they are directional. If they are, they'll have a big arrow in the direction of rotation. As another hint, the shiny side faces out [:)]

So if you have directional tires, can you still use Reverse?

Yes, but you have to swap left-to-right beforehand. It takes me FOREVER to parallel park.
Parallel parking in the US? Who will you have believe that?
How about you mount the front tires with the arrow pointing to the front (should the arrow be at the top or bottom of the tire when checking for direction?) and the rear tires facing the other way.
What about the spare? Should the arrow point left or right?
Glad I have sym. SP5000, those asym. SP9000s are a nightmare!

Traction is marginal at best in reverse--especially when it snows. You might as well just stay home. I have never parallel parked in the ML...
Maybe I should drive in reverse more often to even out the uneven tread wear! Just a thought
