When I started writing code (assembly back then), I did not have the luxury of using graphics. I could address pixels though, but my stuff was character based, mainly computational anyway. So I played with that character crap and eventually was able to print sexy naked girls with nothing but a slightly extended character set.

Thanks, but my SA said (1) it was a bad fit - too small; (2) it scratches like hell when you use it [an advantage to some?]; and (3) to make it work correctly you had to punch out Washington's face. He's the gung-ho patriotic type so he had real problems with no. 3.
