A front passenger wheel makes metal scraping sound after
several hard brakings.
It stops when brake is pressed. Also, It goes away after I shut off
my car about 30 minutes.
After 3 unsucceful visits to dealer, they finally told me to get a new set of rotors and pads so I did.
It got little better but the noise is still there.
It seems this strated after I got hit and dragged sideways by chevy suv from driver side. (BTW he was drunk and after he hit me,
he kept accerating instead of hitting the brake.)
Do you have any idea what it might be?
What kind of things shoud I check out?
I'm sure you did an alligment, if not, this could be an option. Last year I bought salvaged Porsche Boxter, it was hit on right side rear/front and right rear brakes were making similar sound - metal scraping, after alligment the sound was gone. If not, something might be bent, check the suspension.
Good luck !!!
