I would be very pleased if one of our European members can post a picture of a factory or dealer installed passenger side footwell parcel net.
Daniel, this isn't exactly what you want ... I installed this one ...
Sorry, I didn't save the instructions because, after doing all the metric conversions, marking the holes, etc. it really didn't look right, so I changed it to my liking.

Heresy!
Just like posting the fractional number of liquid ounces on the 2 liter bottle of cokes gets people to go "See, I told you that metric system was awfully complicated..."[:)]
Don't convert, use metric measuring devices. What do our northern neighbors have that we are lacking in order to make sense of a base 10 system. Even the UK is making a valiant attempt, although you will always have to order your warm beer by the pint at the local pub.
Did you forget to subtract 32 centimeters before multiplying by 5/9?

No, that's just on weekdays. I installed mine on the weekend. Besides, the Brits are creating their own metric system - kilo-farthings, deci-sterling, etc. They drive on the wrong side of the road - what did you expect?
Daniel, my point is this - don't sweat the millimeters! If YOU think it looks right, then it is!

A few millimeters to low, and "pouf", you lose the hyperdrive, and if you're no longer under warranty, that's pretty expensive to fix, as any respectable ferengi dealer will tell you.
Also, be very careful, ferengis use a vigesimal system (more conversion issues)
BTW, the UK will soon test driving on the right side fo the road.
The ministry of vehicular transportation has decided that a limited scope test will take place later this year whereby lorries (trucks) will drive on the right side of the road during week days. If the number of accidents decreases, personnal transport (cars) will also start driving on the right side during week days!

Coming from a metric country, and having had all my schooling and engineering degrees in the metric system, I would not say that it poses much of a problem for me [:)]. BTW I did use a metric ruler. I have installed my parcel net may moons ago, but it "doesn't look quite right", so I just wanted to compare it with a factory / dealer installed one. I don't want to lose my warp drive over a few millimeters [:D].
Speaking of moons, for those of you that do things once in a blue moon, we'll be having a "blue moon" at the end of this month. A blue moon is the second full moon in a month, and for it to happen, the first full moon must be early in the month, given that the lunar cycle is 20 days.
